NeighbourFinder Development Group
We are the 2 individuals who are developing NeighbourFinder under the name Ah Ha Software.

Jonathan Castle
The idea for Neighbour Finder actually goes back nearly 10 years to 2001 when I was working as a programmer for a big investment bank.
The essential concept is to combine property marketing and social networking - and if I had really marketed the idea then, it would have been streaks ahead of its time. In January 2003 I launched the prototype of NeighbourFinder.co.uk . It was spoted by the communications director of the National Neighbourhood Watch Association (NNWA) who saw its power and the NNWA asked me to rewrite the National NHW website: www.neighbourhoodwatch.net.
At the time I was working for Prudential in Reading and I spoke to the chief information officer, John Worth who gave me the go-ahead to work on the national neighbourhood watch website. When I finished the site Prudential awarded me top prize in the annual EXCELPru Awards in 2005. In 2006 the NNWA was closed by its trustees and I launched www.nwinfo.co.uk one of the most advanced neighbourhood Wwatch websites. I left Prudential in February 2008 and since then I have put my involvement with neighbourhood watch on hold while I concentrate on NeighbourFinder (which was, after all, where I started).
Please Note: NeighbourFinder hasn't got anything to do with Neighbourhood Watch.
It's a revolutionary different way of finding property (and only the tip of the iceberg is currently public!)

Marten Hynard
I am an old Quaker friend of Jon.
My company is Alpine Magnum which is the sole importer of Alpine Magnum stump grinders and parts, made in America.
My involvement in the project is essentially to give Jon moral support and advice about the usability.
I can be contacted at marten@neighbourfinder.co.uk

The pictures on this page are of a memorable holiday we went on with our families on a narrowboat on the Oxford Canal to Banbury and back in the spring of 2009.
We would like to thank the managers of the local estate agents for their cooperation in the launching of NeighbourFinder.
